Vanessa has over a decade of experience with young children in therapeutic and classroom settings. She earned her BA in Psychology from Ohio University, her MS in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and earned her MSW at Ohio State while teaching at ASR. Vanessa has previous experience providing community and school-based mental health and behavioral interventions with young children and applied behavioral analysis interventions to children with developmental disabilities. She has presented at several state level conferences on supporting challenging behaviors in the classroom. Vanessa is passionate about all children receiving a high-quality early childhood education to form a strong base for future school careers and life.
