HOMEMADE FRENCH FRIES
Ingredients:
- 4 russet potatoes washed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450 F.
- Slice the potatoes into 1/4 inch strips, then lay flat and cut into 1/4 inch sticks.
- Toss the potato sticks in oil and lay onto foil that has been sprayed with pan spray.
- Make sure sticks are not touching one another place in the oven on the top shelf.
- Cook until tender, about 8-12 minutes, then gently turn over and finish cooking.
- They can be broiled to brown quickly if desired.
- Remove pan from oven, remove fries from foil, season with salt.
- Serve with garlic mayonnaise.
