CHOCOLATE COATED BANANA BITES
CHOCOLATE COATING
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
Directions:
- Place chips in a small microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave at 10-second increments until melted. Stir after each 10 second period. (Alternate method) Place chips in a small stainless steel bowl and melt over a double boiler until melted.
- Stir in coconut oil until melted.
CHOCOLATE COATED BANANA BITES
Ingredients:
- 4 bananas, ripe, cut into one-inch pieces
- 2 cups chocolate coating recipe from above
Directions:
- Cut bananas into 1-inch pieces and pierce each piece with a toothpick, then freeze solid.
- Remove from pan and dip in the chocolate mixture to coat. Place back on the tray once coated.
- Place the tray back in the freezer to fully firm the chocolate coating.
