Dear Parents and Caregivers of Children attending the A. Sophie Rogers (ASR) School for Early Learning,
After intense and ongoing discussions among the administrators and staff of the ASR School for Early Learning, we have decided to temporarily close our school through Friday April 3, for the forthcoming three weeks. This decision was made based on our commitment to the safety and well-being of our children, their families, and our instructional staff. In so doing, we align to other efforts in the greater Ohio community to mitigate spread of the COVID-19 virus through closure of the public schools and many public facilities, including museums and libraries.
We will continue to keep you appraised via email over the next three weeks as to any changes in our planned schedule to re-open on the morning of April 6. We will also be reaching out to you to provide some guidance for early-learning activities for your home during these next weeks. Finally, because the situation is very fluid, we will continue to provide updates as they become available in light of future guidance from the university and state of Ohio.
Any questions can be directed to Samantha Peterson, Assistant Principal (peterson.476@osu.edu).
These are challenging times and we are all in this together. Please know that we at the ASR School for Early Learning are eager to see you and your children again in a few short weeks.
Sincerely,
Laura Justice
