The Schoenbaum Family Center advances the field of early care and education to support every child’s healthy development. We do this within our walls and throughout the community. Our community programs focus on investing here in our own backyard to expand opportunities for every child and family to succeed.
We do this through working with local agencies and community partners throughout central Ohio to address critical needs in early care and education. Our community programs focus on key areas of early childhood, including access to education, professional development for teachers and administrators, and kindergarten readiness.
Our Programs
Early Head Start Partnership Program
A high-quality education program that serves infants and toddlers across 25 home- and center-based sites and that provides families with holistic support through a network of community partnerships.
Ready4Success
A program to coach and support participating preschool teachers in Early Start Columbus classrooms, specifically in the implementation of the Read It Again! early literacy program.
