Being pregnant can be challenging, especially if you experience roadblocks to affordable child care, transportation, stable housing, prenatal care, and healthy food. Our Early Head Start program can help care for you during your pregnancy, at your child’s birth, and throughout your child’s early education years.
By building a respectful, positive, and culturally responsive relationship with you, our prenatal educator can go with you to appointments and advocate on your behalf to support healthy choices for you and your baby. Moms-to-be learn about breastfeeding, safe sleep, healthy eating, immunizations, postpartum depression, positive parenting skills, and reducing stress.
We can also help you:
- Obtain health insurance
- Learn more about parenting and key topics
