Lucía received their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University and is earning their Master of Arts degree in Teaching & Learning while teaching at A. Sophie Rogers School. Lucía has been working with young children and adolescents, and their families, in a variety of contexts and populations, including bilingual families, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and the Reggio Emilia philosophy for many years. Lucía believes that children, and the adults that care for them, can work together to create a happy and healthy future for all.
