End of Year Celebration Recap
Thank you to all our families for making the end of school year celebration so special. It is wonderful to see all ASR families together celebrating their children’s learning! In addition to a short pre-K performance and kindergarten-bound graduation, we enjoyed dinner from Chefs Mark and Joe, crafts, planting flowers to take home and even had a visit from farm animals from Bring the Farm to You.
Library Update
To commemorate the holiday of Juneteenth, Ilyas H.’s family shared how they celebrated Juneteenth with family in 2023. The highlights of their celebrations were sharing food, fun, and the celebration of freedom with family. Many thanks to Ilyas’s family for sharing their Juneteenth festivities with the ASR school community. For more information on upcoming holiday and heritage month partnerships, please reach out to Sarah by email at Simpson.962@osu.edu or stop by the library to chat about upcoming opportunities!
The ASR Summer Literacy Challenge is underway! Track your child’s literacy activities (reading, playing, singing, talking, and writing together) and visit the library beginning July 10 to pick up a small prize and a book to keep!
